I flew friends Matt and Kylie over the area around Sodus this morning so that Kylie could take some aerial photographs. Along the way, I took some of my own. The pictures below include those from this morning as well as others from recent flights.
Webster Park Fisherman's pier. This is a great spot to watch the sun set over Lake Ontario (if it doesn't blind you first).
Scud observed en route to Le Roy from Williamson. I was planning some safety pilot time with Darrell, but these clouds at 1500' prevented flying any of the local approaches while VFR.
A very low ceiling over swamp land near the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge.
I-90, The New York Thruway, emerges from the low scud.
Clouds reflected in the waterways below.
Clouds and sun reflected in the surface of Cayuga Lake.
The north end of Cayuga Lake.
The Erie Canal.
A return to the back yard: Sodus Bay.
Finally, a couple of shots of my favorite ride taken right after the last waxing.
