Sunday, October 16, was a throwback, a deviation from the mission focus that has taken-over much of my flying in recent years. There was no destination to explore, no practice instrument approach flown, no first flight for a friend, and no effort to maintain night currency. It was nothing more than flying for flying's sake along the beautiful autumnal shore of Lake Ontario.
I was genuinely surprised by the vibrancy of color on such an overcast day.

Fall truly is the best time to fly.

ReplyDeleteWith OXB shut down in October we didn’t get to see the fall colors from the air. After the storm remnants passed through we have little to no leaves left.
