Yes, it's good to have options, no it's not great when those options put you into winter clouds on the shore of a Great Lake!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11846593737518887287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2910924549702235794.post-51705593203140292432016-02-16T15:14:08.130-05:002016-02-16T15:14:08.130-05:00Heh, sometimes the simple solution is the best one...Heh, sometimes the simple solution is the best one.

Beautiful views and definitely a good-you-had-the-IR moment; I would've been relatively screwed with those AWOS reports!Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11130510691724323456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2910924549702235794.post-25440653201452344912016-01-27T06:14:35.783-05:002016-01-27T06:14:35.783-05:00Thanks, Gary!

I just though it was funny that I was trying to ask Ray for advice on the compass and he instead offered advice on odor abatement.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11846593737518887287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2910924549702235794.post-54607457438177089972016-01-27T06:09:42.875-05:002016-01-27T06:09:42.875-05:00Congrats on 1500! Looking forward to your choice and repair.

As for smell, I would leave the doors open on 481 while she sits in the hangar. Maybe it will dissipate and worst case it will help your door seals live longer instead of always being compressed. I've heard of people placing dryer sheets to remove odors in cars and there's DampRid to remove musty smells, that might work.
